Week 21 (round 2)

We had our Dr. appt and everything with the 20week ultrasound looked great!  They told us that our little girl is healthy and growing perfectly.  They also told us that the genetic testing came out great too - nothing to worry about (which basically means, there is little chance that our little girl will have any genetic disorders). 

So I remembered to take a picture this week - however there is this weird shadow around my belly... can you also see the munchkin?  She was tugging on my leg the whole time saying - "up mum, up!"

21weeks 2 days

How our baby's growing:
Our baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long - the length of a banana.  It's starting to feel like she's practicing martial arts since her initial fluttering movements are turning into full-fledged kicks and nudges.  I've also started to discover a pattern to her activity as each day passes.

We don't have another appt until Jan 9th, which is also when I'll have to do the Glucose Testing, to make sure that I don't have gestational diabetes.  But until then, it's time to focus on the holiday season ahead! :)
