Happy Halloween!!

Madison's first Halloween... it was so much fun!
First we went to the Pumpkin Patch, Madison looked sooo cute in her little pumpkin outfit! Later that day we went to the Halloween Carnival at our local community center, she was even in the costume contest. Madison looked so cute as a little flower!!
Daddy loves her!
Auntie Cami wanted her turn holding her too
I'm sooooo cute!!

There were 6 kids in the contest and unfortunately Madison didn't win. The winners were so creative - the parents were dressed as Chefs and the baby was a lobster, in a big silver pot - really cute idea!
Her first Halloween was so much fun, I'm excited for the many more to come!!

The Moms
"Uncle" Scott Lisa and Madison
One of my best friends, Scott and his fiance Nicole, had a beautiful little boy named Brayden, he was born 4 days before Madison. Since everyone wanted to meet the little ones, Lisa hosted a lovely brunch at her house, so.... Madison and Brayden got to meet for the very 1st time!! It was such a fun day - we got to visit with Jared, the Coles' and the MacLeans' and everyone got a chance to hold the babies!

It's so wonderful, Scott and I have been friends since 5th grade and now our children will grow up together...hopefully they will be as good of friends as we are!

Bubble Bath!

Bath time is the best part of my day!! It's nice to spend a little time each evening with just the 3 of us... no other distractions (work, phone, tv, computer, etc...) Deven and I give Madison her bath together and she always looks so indifferent - haha. She just sits back and lets us wait on her (must be nice). I can't believe how big she's getting, it seems like yesterday that we brought her home.

Visitors!

My friend Thiri came down to visit Madison, she is expecting her own bundle of joy (a little boy) in January, it was very exciting visiting with her and seeing her little baby bump!

Grandma Nancy and Grandma Ivy also came down for their weekly visits. They got their first babysitting job... they watched Madison (luckily she slept the whole time) and Mommy got to do some desperately needed grocery shopping! :)

Seaport Village

About two weeks ago, we went on a family outing to Seaport Village.
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday... the perfect day to spend outside!
We had lunch, window shopped and walked around the harbor.
It's days like this that remind me why I love San Diego!

Little Fingers

Since I can remember I've hated my hands... I have really long fingers and really skinny wrists, which just made my hands look even larger! Everyone always said that my long fingers were so beautiful, but I never agreed... until now.Looking at my little girl and seeing that she has my hands makes me so happy. I look at her beautiful, delicate little fingers and couldn't be happier that she got them from me. It's amazing how looking at my daughters hands can make me love something about myself that I once hated so much.

Bath Time

A few weeks ago we gave Madison her 1st bath. As you can see, she started out very calm and happy, but once we started washing her, it all went downhill...
She had the saddest little frown and cried during most of the bath.Luckily, each bath since then has been a much better experience for her. Now she actually enjoys her bath time and doesn't cry at all. :-D
