Big Sister!

I know that I've been really bad about updating the blog in a timely matter but I must say that I've been a little preoccupied, to say the least... as most of you have already heard, Madison is going to be a big sister!!

We feel sooooo blessed to be pregnant again... after everything we went through trying to have Madison, we feel so lucky that we were able to get pregnant again so quickly and easily! 

It was the morning of Sept 7th when we (Madison and I) found out I was expecting.  I didn't want to just call and tell Deven over the phone, so we had to wait ALL DAY before we could share the exciting news.  Madison and I wanted to do something special, so we went to store after store after store to find a "BIG SISTER" shirt, however, I couldn't find any in her size... Finally I found one, it was WAY too big, but looked super cute on her anyway.

Once Deven came home, Madison walked out to the living room wearing her shirt and holding the (positive) pregnancy test (in a sealed plastic bag).  Deven picked her up, read her shirt, looked at me and said "YOU'RE PREGNANT! - I TOLD YOU!" haha.

Sadly, right after we told Deven the good news, Madison started acting up and ended up having a very high fever... so we quickly undressed her to cool her off.  Since we didn't have time to take a pic of her wearing the shirt, once she fell asleep we laid it on top of her and took the pic.  We sent this pic to the parents and shared our exciting news!

A few weeks later, we had our first Dr. appt and got to finally see our little baby!  By that time, I was able to find another Big Sister shirt (in her size)- so Madison was dressed for the occasion!

During the ultrasound, we were actually able to also hear the baby's heartbeat!  It was so cute, because while it was beating, Madison was looking right at the screen and saying,

"HEWWO??  HEWWO??"

She was just as excited as we were!

Gracie's Bday Party

Today Madison got to visit her cousin Gracie becuase it was her 7th birthday party!!  The theme was Tinkerbell, so Madison got to be a fairy for the day - which she loved!  At first she didn't understand what the wings were, but once we put them on her, she didn't want to take them off.  All the girls looked so cute in their wings, but I think little Madison was the cutest!!  :)

Mebo Photos!

We got to take all these fun photos at our friends wedding.  They had a company called Mebo Photos at the reception and all the guests got to take all these fun, cute, silly and sweet photos with whomever they wanted (and we could take as many photos as we wanted too!). 

After we took the photos, we got a copy of them on a little 4 picture "photo booth" slide show for us to keep.  They also printed extras of all the photos for the Bride and Groom, so they could make a scrapbook with them.  Cool huh?!?!

Matt & Tani's Wedding!!

Recently our very good friends Matt and Tani got married!! The celebration was at Rancho Las Lomas and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting!  The night was so much fun - we got to get dressed up, visit with friends and dance - A LOT!  We were so happy that we could be there to celebrate in the happy occasion!
