BBQ and S'mores

Today was such a fun day, we spent the day up in OC since {Great} Uncle Wendy and Aunt Debbie were visiting from Fresno and they hadn't met Riley or Cash yet.  So we met up at Grandma Nancy's house for a quick visit and then headed over to the Whiteley house for a little BBQ!

They looked so cute, but they weren't to pleased with us mommas, who were snapping picture after picture after picture of them.

Apparently Uncle John loves s'mores, so the Whiteley house is always stocked with the essentials.  So Auntie Candice made Madison her very 1st s'more and needless to say, she LOVED it!

We had a great time visiting with the family and enjoying a relaxing BBQ.  Every time the cousins are all together I just get so excited thinking about them growing up and being the best of friends.  Thanks Whiteley's for hosting just a great BBQ, we can't wait until the next one :)

I was soooo excited to get family photos.  

I was even more excited to see how amazing they all turned out!

I know that we all love each other, but these pictures truly captured that love.  Madison is obsessed with her little sister {and it shows} and we are obsessed with our girls {and it shows}.  I married the best man and he gave me the best little girls <3

4 months

I can't get over how cute she is!

She's officially 4 months and she gets cuter as each day passes

   It was time to take our monthly pics

which started off well

 

 

 

 then ended with tears

 she was so fed up with pics

 that she decided to leave!

 Over the past 4 months Riley has gotten sooo big!  

She can do so many new things!

* She laughs!  

{It's the sweetest sound ever}

* She can push herself up with her arms

* She can roll over from belly to back
{and from back to belly}

* She's learning to scoot around like a caterpillar

and of course

She still has those HUGE owl eyes

  and makes the funniest expressions with them!

 I think {correction} I know her favorite thing is when Momma is holding her.  If I could sit with her, hold her or carry her ALL DAY LONG she would be the happiest little baby ever!

When she's not sleeping, being cuddled or making funny faces, she's being tormented by her big sister.  Madison is a "big helper" and fills Riley's swing with every toy she can find... until it's almost impossible to find Riley amongst the toys! hahaha

Riley has such a sweet soul, she makes me a better mom and we are lucky to be her parents.  I can't wait until she can sit up {without toppling over} and I want to hear that little giggle turn into full blown laughter!  I keep saying I can't wait to watch her grow, but I also want her to stay little forever.........
