Merry Christmas!

Look at all my gifts from Santa!The 1st Christmas with our little munchkin was awesome. Every holiday is so much better when you have a beautiful little girl to share it with! I can't wait until next year when she'll be old enough to open the presents herself. Being a mom is the best Christmas gift I could ever ask for!

Our Christmas weekend flew by because we had to many people to visit.... Our morning started out at home in San Diego then we were off to the Lightner's house in OC :)

My mom had everyone over for xmas dinner and it was so yummy. It's always so nice visiting with everyone, my uncle and cousins were there with her kids - they are getting so big! It's hard to imagine that Madison will be running around like them in a year or two.

The next day we had breakfast with my Aunt Pat who was sooo excited to finally meet Madison. Then we were off to Corona to visit my dad, sister and more cousins. Even though the weekend flew by, it's so great to know that we have so many people who love us and Madison. We are very lucky to have such great families! MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

It was that time of year again... the Melton Christmas Party! It was so much fun that the night just flew right by. Everyone got to finally meet Madison and she looked so cute in her little xmas dress. My parents house was so festive; food, friends, laughter and of course Santa Claus.

Visit to Cali

Madison and Uncle Dan Madison looks so big in Becky's armsOur favorite people from Chicago came out to visit, which was so much fun! Becky and Dan were here for almost 5 days, but time sure flew by! First their flight was re-routed to LA due to fog, then re-routed back to SD after a few hours... needless to say, it was a long night for them. The next day we hung out with Madison, went to La Jolla, In and Out and of course Old Town for dinner! Then we were off to OC... to the happiest place on earth :-D

DISNEYLAND!!!!

We had so much fun at Disneyland - it was nice spending the day with such great friends! Going during the xmas season was such a treat - the park looked amazing, especially the castle! I can't wait to go back next year and take Madison, she is going to have so much fun! Even though she didn't come with us, I had to get her a gift... doesn't she looks sooooo cute!??!?!

Stone BrewerySo Madison did her first brewery tour - haha! We went to Stone Brewery (Dan's favorite beer) and had a great time, it was so hot (80 degrees in December) but we cooled off with some yummy beer. I was so sad that this was the last day Becky & Dan were in town... I wished they lived closer, but what can you do?? It just makes every time we visit that much more special!
