Week 20 (round 2)

So I forgot to take a picture... again...
sorry...
I'll be better... I promise!!!

How our baby's growing:
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the fist diaper after birth.  And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!

Our baby weighs about  10 1/2 ounces now.  She's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel - the size of a canteoupe.  (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against her torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of her head to her bottom - the "crown to trump" meansurement.  After 20 weeks, she's measured from head to toe.)
Our next appt is on the 13th, and we'll be going over all the important details from our ultrasound.  We are officially half way through the pregnancy and it's gone by SOOO fast!
