M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!

This really is the Happiest Place on Earth!
I think this picture sums up how much FUN one little girl had
We took our little girls to Disneyland for the 1st time and it was quite an adventure.  Now we've been to Disneyland many many times, but going with kids... very little kids... is definately a different experience.  We were there 5+ hours and went on only one ride.

We got there around noon and they looked so cute in the matching minnie shirts I made them.  Madison was so excited to see all the Disney characters, especially Mickey and Minnie!

We had so much fun, I only wish it was a little cooler... it was 95°, can you say HOT!  Our little girls were such troopers, sweaty little troopers! haha.  After getting there and taking a few pics we went on a hunt for characters.  Every time we saw one we stopped to get a pic {and autograph!}

Our first autograph... Dale!
 and then Pluto!

Next we went to Fantasyland,
we thought we'd take Madison on a ride..........
BIG MISTAKE!
Maybe we should have chosen a different ride, maybe we should have skipped rides all together, maybe we just shouldn't have gone on Snow White... now I've been on this ride before, a long time ago.  Does anyone remember how scary it is??!??!  We sure didn't.  We thought, Snow White, Madison LOVES Snow White - nope - the whole ride was about the evil witch, dark and scary.
bad decision
 {Doesn't she look sooo happy sitting in that teacup?}
Someone was scared to go on or near anything that resembled a ride for the rest of the day.

Luckily that didn't prevent her from running up to every character we saw! {who knew, aren't most kids more scared of the giant characters?  Not ours! haha}

So we went on our way... over to Critter Country, to find some of Madison's favorite friends from the 100 Acre Woods.  On our way we ran into a few more friends

Brer Fox and Brer Bear
And then we found our favorite woodland friends

 Madison didn't want to leave Pooh Bear... she LOVED him!
 We went for a little walk around the park, ate lunch and watched Madison as she took it ALL in
We were now on our way to Pixie Hollow to meet one of her favorite people...
TinkerBell!
It was getting toward nap time and it was REALLY HOT!  Riley was asleep on my chest {let me tell you, 95° out plus a sleeping furnace on your chest makes for a REALLY uncomfortable momma!}.  Before we could leave we had a few more stops to make.  We couldn't leave without visiting MICKEY AND MINNIE!

We waited in line forever {at lease that's how it felt} all so Madison could meet Minnie and it was worth every minute.  She ran into her arms and hugged, kissed and hugged her some more.  She wouldn't take her eyes off her and that little adorable smile she had was just priceless!

  After checking out Minnie's house, it was off to meet MICKEY!

By the time we got through his line, Madison was almost at her meltdown point.  She was so tired and was crying, but she gave Mickey a kiss and said "wuv you Mickey".  It was so sad and cute all at the same time!

Today was an adventure, but a fantastically fun one!  One of the best parts of being a parent is getting to watch your child experience things for the 1st time.  I've never had so much fun watching my little girl smile and point out everything and shout at us,
"It's Mickey momma, it's Mickey!!!!"
"Wook at dat momma, WOWW!"
"It's too much fun!"

I will never forget our "1st" time at Disneyland!
